Since 2009 I have developed a successful relationship with clients by using my TV broadcast experience to shoot and edit content creatively, often turning projects around on the same day.
Every job is different - I have filmed at the top of the O2, in the depths of the London Dungeon, on the coral reefs of the Maldives, and in the halls of the Royal Mint.
To all of these briefs I bring a constant commitment to creativity, professionalism and integrity.
When I created albion video in 2009, I brought a wealth of experience with me honed from working in the high-pressure environment of broadcast news and current affairs. I had begun my career in 1989, as an ENG cameraman and video tape editor for the American network NBC News, based in the London bureau.
In 1993 I accepted a camera/editor contract with ITV. I contributed news, sport and feature items. I was also camera operator on many in-house documentaries.
I’ve had a varied and exciting career, but there are some achievements I’m particularly proud of. I was camera operator/co-producer of ‘Battle for Trafalgar: London Poll Tax riots,’ the very first programme in Channel 4’s prestigious Cutting Edge documentary series. In 2011, I filmed a travel series for ITV, visiting Tasmania, Australia and the USA. In 2015, I made my first short film, ‘Filament,’ as director, cameraman and editor; it won the Bridport Prize.
